If blog still relevant beyond year of 2015 and onward - and how it relevant to the meanings of life?

Blog seems old school to me these days.

Even some of the most successful blogger in our country like Kenny Sia slow down in his blogging. Wonder how many bloggers can still keep moving on. It takes tremendous level of persistence. The endurance is more than marathon, for marathon you persist for 6 hours or more then you done. But blogging takes more than that commitment. We talk about years.

These days, there are many channels to voice and share your idea, you can FB it, you twit it, those channels are more effective as the readers are the people who care, or anyway, really interest with what you say.

But one should have ask why he blog at the first place?

Is the same objective still apply when the world changes, events passed and you still remain as the very same person you are.

5 years and 10 years can make whole lot of difference. You will be more than surprise you have become a person that you never imagine many years back. Let alone your thinking, your mindset, your belief, it all changes.

At certain age, around the corner you turn 30, 40 - I, and, at least friends of mine usually think we have reached a stage the life is going to be different. What we pursue is going to change. The scale of wealth and health and happiness is tipping to a new equilibrium of balance.

You look around, you found amid your friends, your acquaintance, and you start asking how do you compare with others.

A my friend hits me with his words, "Don't compare."

DON'T COMPARE. Don't compare measure your maturity, measure your self-confidence. You need not other yardstick to tell how well you are doing. I personally feel it at times can be contradict. I think it should be don't compare unhealthily and don't complacent. When you compare, use it properly, it gives you the boost to be better self. It drives you to be more healthy and work your way up to earn more. But if you don't know what you really want, it can turns into a monster and swallow you and that calls GREED.

At this age, there is simple explanation, it calls "mid-life crisis". The cure for me is to believe stupidly tomorrow always better, it keeps you going, it gives you the illusion life is full of hope. Just like we created Santa Claus. And who dare say this world is something not more magical than that. Your existence is already magical enough. And this blog already is.
